A month ago, I was returning from an intense and magical weekend in Colombia, still with goosebumps from all the emotion, amazed by everything we had achieved.

Just a month ago, I shared with you on this blog my feelings about that weekend. That very week, I was well aware that it wouldn’t take long to return to visit this land so full of talent and so focused on our project, and I was not mistaken.

Today, it was announced that Colombia, Cali in particular, will once again become the continental home of leadership and the capital of change towards the future. Some stunning weekend in May! It will happen in two months, but I already know that I won’t miss it for anything in the world. Very few things could come up between me and this exciting date. And if this date didn’t yet exist, I would still be planning a visit to Colombia so as to meet the members of my Colombian team and those from the nearby countries, to keep growing together and creating something that is already making a difference.

The invitation applies to leaders from all over Latin America, and therefore I hope to find there a number of familiar faces, teammates and, of course, I hope to meet many more new people interested in the vision of the future that we have in OneLife. Among the special guests we will see Christian Steinkeller, Mr. Jose Gordo, my mentor, as well as my great colleagues Igor E. Alberts y Andreea Cimbala.

On May 19, Friday there will be a conference in Cali held by John Maxwell, a well-known leader coach, who we can learn a lot from. And that conference is only an introduction to the great event in Cali on May 20, which will be the largest and most attended event in Latin America so far.

Are you coming? Remember, on Saturday, May 20 in Cali.

It won’t be the first time I have set foot on those lands and, hopefully, not the last. Brazil is a wonderful country that perfectly understands what we are trying to create. I have enjoyed a lot every time I visited this place.

My next visit to that country will be on April 8, during an event that we have been talking about for some weeks. By that day, I hope to see more colleagues of mine encouraged by it. It will be a great event in São Paulo, a city that shines by day and by night, vibrant and full of life.

The skyline of São Paulo is full of buildings that defy the stars and reflect the light of the sun in an almost blinding way. It’s a unique brightness that shows that it’s a city that has been working for a long time looking towards the future that we are beginning to discover.

They say that the Brazilians call this city “the one that cannot stop”, because its people always seem to be moving, day and night. A tireless city that moves to the beat of the dreams that we all want to fulfil and that creates its future day by day, through thick and thin.

If you have ever visited it, you might think that you are in a city of the future, and you are not mistaken. It was, in fact, named the Latin America City of the Future in 2014, which is a title that will surely continue to drive and empower its inhabitants in the times ahead.

That is why our April event in São Paulo seems to be marked as something very special, because it’s such a perfect place to hold an event where we promote a new way of dealing with finances, where we work to bring the future closer. Where we create new things and make a change, knowing that nothing is impossible.
We will change the future, all together, from the City of the Future.

What happened this past weekend can only be described using such epithets that it would seem that we’re talking about cinema, about one of those spectacular films that make you dream while filling you with adrenaline.

I lived two absolutely magical days, during which everything that we could have expected to be excellent was even better. Days shared with my colleagues, time spent meeting new people who already were part of this great family. A wonderful whirlwind of events and emotions, a major launch when we heard about all those people who were wanting to participate and all who, unfortunately, weren’t able to enter because of the lack of space.

On Saturday, I would like to highlight a panel which I took part in, along with my fantastic teammates Laura Caro, Ana Flavia Bittencourt, Lilyana Rivera, Melisa Lucero and Maru Regueira. A powerful panel in which my colleagues and I talked about the changing role of women, about leadership, about how we work and discover the potential of more women to change their lives.

You know: “a good woman knows her limits; an intelligent woman knows she has none.”

On Sunday, this whirlwind continued with more stories, emotions, acknowledgments and learning from each other.

In short, it was a weekend during which we had some wonderful experiences. A new powerful wave of changes has been unleashed.

Last Saturday, November 12, I said goodbye to Mexico and promised to come back. The last stop in this wonderful trip was San Juan del Rio, in Querétaro.

The meeting with the attendees took place in a hotel called “Hotel Hacienda La Venta”, a place that for centuries has been a luxurious private house, a “hacienda”. The place had a special charm, old and modern things were mixed up. It was a place that adapted to the time and continued there. And that is something that inspires me, especially when it comes to concepts so important for me at this point in my life.

We made the presentation in a small but cosy room. A warm environment was created both by the walls that surrounded us and by the people who came and participated.

That event was the last of a series of small but important events. And, considering all the events, I can say that I have reached a thousand people. I have spoken in front of about a thousand people and I have interacted with more than a thousand people in these two frantic but wonderful weeks.

Many cities, many memorable places and many kilometres between one place and the next. And all those kilometres have been for good. I would drive each and every one of those kilometres again. Moreover, I’m sure that I will return soon.

Now it’s time to go home and have some rest, before the work continues.
